Tonight was the first annual Lightning Lip Sync contest. Hosted by the drama magnet, it featured students performing their favorite songs from the 1990s, including “Poison” by Inappropriate Ones and “Right Here” by SWV.

Second place winners Nyakisisia Cochran and Jazmyne Horne performed “What About Your Friends” by Positive Vibes and received 83 out of 120 points.

First place winners Tyler Chin, Justin Lambert, Zachary Thelusma and Tatianna Young performed “I’ll Make Love To You” by Boyz II Men and received 109 points out of 120.

The contest was thought up by Drama teacher Kay Stewartson and her Advanced Drama students and more performances are in the future.
