Let Doors Open

Let Doors Open

As the bell rings for the end of lunch, people scatter out the cafeteria trying to go back to their period or their next period (whether they have 1st lunch or 2nd), but there is one obstacle that delays the students path. That obstacle is the students that are blocking the cafeteria doors.
It might sound a little bit underwhelming, but it is a problem in the school that has been noticed. Both sides in the story can get affected by this. The person blocking the door can hurt themselves if the person opens the door forcefully.
Also the person who gets hit will blame the other because they hit them. No one can win in this situation. Other people in the cafeteria have noticed this and are annoyed by it. By just asking the simplest questions “Do you notice the people blocking the cafeteria doors?” and “Are you annoyed by that?” the majority said “Yes” immediately.
On the other side, the people who block the cafeteria doors have every right to be there, it’s not a code of conduct rule. But, they just have to know that sometimes they will probably get bumped or may even get hurt. We’re definitely not forcing anybody to move because that’s their free will.
For people who do block the doors, all you have to do is try not to. It’ll benefit you and the person trying to enter or leave the cafeteria.

Zachary and his Film Club group, under the name Movies N’ Stuff, created a PSA for this annoying issue. Check it out below!
