After President Donald Trump signed an executive order barring travelers from a select group of predominantly Muslim countries, Starbucks released a statement saying the Seattle-based country would hire 10,000 refugees. The hashtag #BoycottStarbucks is currently trending on Facebook.
Besides promising the hiring, Starbucks also condemned the executive order.
The company was also criticized for its business in Mexico. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz later said in a statement that the company prefers to build bridges, not walls.
