On Nov. 10, senior Eden Moskona was collecting ten dollars from students to participate in Lily’s Wellness walk on Nov. 20. Moskona’s idea inspired social studies teacher Arturo Tenacio’s students to host a walk for his daughter Lily who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The walk will be held on Nov. 20, the week of Lily’s birthday, on the track field. With the ten dollar dues students will be able to participate in the walk and receive a shirt to wear on the following dress down day. Senior Ana Cerzosimo thinks only allowing students to wear pink for Lily is a great idea to bring awareness to her non-profit organization.
