On Tuesday, Mar. 15, the GMAC Championships began with Krop facing TERRA Environmental Research Institute and Miami Palmetto High School playing against MAST Academy.

Each match consists of five singles matches and two doubles. Earlier in the regular season, Krop beat TERRA with a score of four to three.

Tied at two in today’s match, sophomore Manami Maehama broke the tie to give Krop the lead 3-2. The Lightning never looked back after winning the finals single match and sweeping the doubles, giving them a 5-2 match win.

Palmetto defeated MAST in the other semi-final match sending them to the championship game against Krop on Thursday.
